Cambridge is a city in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, situated at the confluence of the Grand and Speed rivers in the central Ontario Peninsula. As of the 2021 census, the city had a population of 138,479, making it one of the three core cities in the regional municipality along with Kitchener and Waterloo.
The city's strategic location at the convergence of two major rivers has historically contributed to its development as part of the larger Waterloo Region, which forms an important urban centre in southwestern Ontario.
