Itapissuma

Itapissuma is a city located in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. It occupies a total land area of 74.25 square kilometers and is integrated into the Recife metropolitan area alongside thirteen other neighboring cities.

As of 2020, the city had an estimated population of 26,900 inhabitants according to the IBGE. Itapissuma is notable for having the best children's mortality rate within the Recife metropolitan area and maintains the second-highest GDP per capita in the region, following only Ipojuca.
