Pirenopolis

Pirenópolis, often referred to locally as Piri, is a historic municipality situated in the state of Goiás in Brazil. It is located approximately 120 kilometers from the state capital of Goiânia and 150 kilometers from the federal capital, Brasília.

The city is recognized for its well-preserved Portuguese colonial architecture and its numerous waterfalls. Additionally, Pirenópolis hosts the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo, a popular festival featuring mounted horses that takes place annually 45 days after Easter.
