Tanabi is a municipality situated in the northwestern region of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It serves as a local center within its district and was officially founded on July 4, 1882.
The city is located approximately 447 kilometers from the capital city of São Paulo and sits about 30 kilometers from São José do Rio Preto. As of the 2020 census conducted by the IBGE, the municipality has a population of 26,101 inhabitants.
