São Lourenço do Sul is a municipality located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. The city is situated on the western bank of the Lagoa dos Patos, which is one of the largest lagoons in the country.
The population of the municipality was recorded at 43,111 during the 2010 Census and was estimated to be approximately 43,540 inhabitants in 2020.
