Rosário do Sul is a Brazilian municipality situated in the southwestern region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Located at an elevation of 151 meters, the city sits approximately 385 kilometers west of the state capital, Porto Alegre. It covers a total area of 4,369.65 square kilometers and has a population of 39,314.

The local economy is primarily driven by agriculture. Additionally, the municipality possesses a significant infrastructure designed to accommodate a large number of international tourists from Argentina and Uruguay who visit the area during the spring season.
