Eldorado do Sul is a municipality located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. It is situated within the metropolitan area of Porto Alegre, which serves as both the state capital and the largest city in the region.
The municipality is positioned on the right bank of the Guaíba River, directly opposite the capital city. As of recent records, Eldorado do Sul has a population of 41,902 residents.
