Dois Irmãos is a municipality located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. The city is situated approximately 52 kilometers from the state capital, Porto Alegre.
Historically, the municipality was originally known by the German name Baumschneis before it was renamed to Dois Irmãos.
