Carlos Barbosa is a town located in the wine country region of the Rio Grande do Sul state in Brazil. Situated at an altitude of 676 meters, it occupies a geographical position at approximately 29º17'51" South and 51º30'13" West.
The municipality covers a total area of 208.16 square kilometers. As of the 2020 estimate, the population of Carlos Barbosa was recorded at 30,241 inhabitants.
