Santa Cruz is a municipality situated in the state of Rio Grande do Norte within the Northeast region of Brazil. It is located approximately 115 kilometers from Natal, which serves as the state's capital and largest city.

The city is notable for housing the St. Rita of Cascia Statue, which is recognized as the largest statue of its kind in Brazil. According to data from the IBGE in 2020, the municipality had a total population of 40,295 residents.
