Apodi is a municipality located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte within the Northeast region of Brazil. It covers a total area of 1,569.146 square kilometers, with approximately 8.1944 square kilometers designated as urban territory.
The city is situated 287 kilometers from Natal, the state capital, and 1,573 kilometers from Brasília, the federal capital. According to the 2022 demographic census conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Apodi has a population of 36,093 inhabitants, making it the 13th most populous municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
