Tocantins is a Brazilian municipality located in the state of Minas Gerais. It belongs to the mesoregion of Zona da Mata and to the microregion of Ubá.
As of 2020, the estimated population of the municipality was 16,715. It shares its name with the state of Tocantins in northern Brazil, but is a separate and distinct place in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais.
