São Félix de Minas is a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, in the Southeast region of Brazil. It is one of the many municipalities that make up Minas Gerais, Brazil's fourth-largest state by area and its second most populous.
The municipality is located in the interior of Minas Gerais, a state whose economy and settlement patterns have historically been associated with mining and agriculture. Like other municipalities in Brazil, São Félix de Minas serves as a local administrative unit, with a municipal government responsible for services within its boundaries.
Beyond its status as a municipality within Minas Gerais, few details about São Félix de Minas are widely documented. It should not be confused with other places in Brazil bearing the name São Félix, including the city of São Félix in the state of Bahia.
