Monte Carmelo is a municipality located in the western region of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It falls within the Immediate Geographic Region of Monte Carmelo and the Intermediate Geographic Region of Uberlândia.
The municipality covers a total area of 1,343.035 km² (518.549 sq mi). According to the 2022 census, the population was recorded at 47,692 residents, with an estimated population of 49,500 as of 2025.
