Nazaré, also known as Nazaré das Farinhas, is a municipality located in the state of Bahia within the Northeast region of Brazil. Situated in the interior Recôncavo region, the town sits at the intersection of two state highways, BA-001 and BA-046. It is positioned approximately 110 kilometers from the state capital, Salvador.

The municipality has a population of 28,594 and a population density of 107 inhabitants per square kilometer. The Jaguaripe River flows through the center of the town. Nazaré shares borders with the neighboring municipalities of Muniz Ferreira, Aratuípe, Jaguaripe, São Felipe, and Maragogipe.
