Camamu is a municipality located in the state of Bahia, Brazil. It is situated within the Valença subregion of the Sul Baiano region and lies on the southern coast of the state along the Costa do Dendê. The municipality is positioned along the BA-001 highway.
The territory covers an area of 885.20 km2. As of a 2020 estimate, the population of Camamu was 35,382 inhabitants.
