Tran is a small town located in the Tran Municipality within the Pernik Province of western Bulgaria. It serves as a local settlement situated in the western part of the country.
The town is positioned approximately 27 km (17 mi) from Breznik and is located just 15 km (9.3 mi) from the border with Serbia.
