Kardzhali, also spelled as Kardžali or Kurdzhali, is a town situated in the Eastern Rhodopes region of Bulgaria. It serves as the administrative center for both the Kardzhali Municipality and the Kardzhali Province.
The town functions as an important regional economic hub. Additionally, the Kardzhali Reservoir is located in the vicinity of the city.
