Tervel is a town in northeastern Bulgaria, located in Dobrich Province. It serves as the administrative centre of Tervel Municipality, which occupies the westernmost part of the province.
As of December 2009, the town had a population of 6,667. Its role as a municipal seat makes it the main settlement and administrative hub for the surrounding area within that western section of Dobrich Province.
