Lincent is a municipality in Wallonia, the French-speaking southern region of Belgium. It is located in the province of Liège, one of the five provinces that make up Wallonia.
As a municipality, Lincent forms one of the local administrative units through which Belgium's federal structure is organised, with responsibilities such as local services and administration handled at the municipal level. The municipality lies within the Walloon region rather than the Flemish or Brussels-Capital regions.
Beyond its status as a Walloon municipality in the province of Liège, few further details are established in the available source material.
