Sarankhola is a mauza (village cluster) located in Dakhin Khali Union within Sarankhola Upazila of Bagerhat District in the Khulna Division of Bangladesh. It sits on the northeastern edge of the Sundarbans forest, one of the world's largest mangrove forests. The area serves as a transitional zone between the dense forest ecosystem and inhabited settlements.
According to the 2011 Bangladesh census, Sarankhola mauza contained 2,902 households with a total population of 11,623 residents. The population is predominantly Muslim, with a small Hindu minority. Khuriakhali is one of five villages that comprise the mauza.
