Torquay is a town located in the Surf Coast Shire within the state of Victoria, Australia. Situated along the coast facing Bass Strait, it lies approximately 21 kilometers south of Geelong and serves as a primary gateway to the Great Ocean Road.
The town's geography includes notable coastal features such as Point Danger and Zeally Bay, with Spring Creek bordering its western side. As of the 2021 census, Torquay had a recorded population of 18,534 residents.
