Goulburn is a regional city located in the Southern Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated approximately 195 kilometres south-west of Sydney and 90 kilometres north-east of Canberra.
The city holds historical significance as it was officially proclaimed by Queen Victoria as Australia's first inland city via letters patent in 1863. Administratively, Goulburn serves as the seat of the Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
As of the 2021 census, the city had a recorded population of 24,565 residents.
