Schoppernau is a town in the Bregenzerwald region of the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It lies in the western part of Austria, within the Alpine area of the Bregenzerwald.
The municipality covers an area of 47.64 square kilometres. It is one of the communities that make up the Bregenzerwald, a region of Vorarlberg known for its rural, mountainous landscape.
