Riefensberg is a municipality in the district of Bregenz, in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It lies in the far west of the country, within the Bregenz district that surrounds the state capital of the same name.
The community covers an area of 14.85 square kilometers. It is located within the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, a protected area in the Alpine foothills shared with neighbouring parts of Vorarlberg and Bavaria.
