Lauterach is a municipality in the district of Bregenz, in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It lies in the far west of Austria, within the Rhine valley area of Vorarlberg, close to the provincial capital of Bregenz and to Lake Constance.
Among its notable characteristics is that it hosts honorary consulates of two countries: Finland and the United Kingdom both maintain honorary consulates in Lauterach.
