Hard is a town in the west of Vorarlberg, the westernmost state of Austria. It lies directly on the southern shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee), the large lake that forms part of the border between Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
Among the town's attractions are the Strandbad, a lakeside bathing area, and the Grünerdamm. Hard is also known for its skatepark.
