Eichenberg is a municipality in the district of Bregenz, in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is one of the communities that make up the Bregenz district, which lies in the westernmost part of Austria.
The municipality is situated in the Alpine terrain characteristic of Vorarlberg, a region bordered by Germany to the north and Switzerland to the west. Like other settlements in the Bregenz district, it forms part of the broader Bregenzerwald area of scattered villages and hamlets rather than a single dense urban centre.
Eichenberg is administratively distinct from other places bearing the same name, including the Eichenberg in the German state of Hesse. Its status as a municipality places it among the roughly two dozen communes that together constitute the district of Bregenz.
