Doren is a municipality in the district of Bregenz, in the western Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It lies in the Bregenzerwald, the Alpine region that makes up the eastern part of the Bregenz district, roughly midway between the towns of Bregenz to the west and Egg to the east.
The municipality is one of the smaller communities of the Bregenzerwald, a landscape of wooded slopes, pastures and scattered hamlets. Its name is shared with several other places in the German-speaking world, but this Doren is the Vorarlberg village in the Bregenz district.
