Wattenberg is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies about 15 kilometres east of Innsbruck, the provincial capital.
The municipality sits roughly 2.5 kilometres above Wattens, the town known for the Swarovski crystal company. Its position on the slope above the Inntal valley makes it a scattered mountain settlement rather than a compact town.
