Trins is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies about 20.3 km south of Innsbruck, on the Gschnitzbach.
The village was first mentioned in 1030, under the name "Trunnes". It was formerly part of the village of Gschnitz, and became a separate municipality in 1811.
