Telfs is a market town located in the Innsbruck-Land district within the Austrian state of Tyrol. Situated approximately 27 kilometres west of the city of Innsbruck, it serves as a significant local hub.
The municipality holds the distinction of being the third largest in the state of Tyrol. It was officially granted its status as a market town in 1908 and maintains its own district court.
