Sölden is a municipality in the Ötztal valley of Tyrol, Austria. It lies in the western part of the country, within the Alpine region of the Ötztal, a valley of the Ötztaler Ache river.
The municipality is known as a mountain resort area, with access to surrounding glaciers and high Alpine terrain that support skiing and other mountain activities. The Ötztal valley in which it sits is one of the longest side valleys of the Inn River in Tyrol.
