Serfaus is a municipality in the district of Landeck, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in the western part of the country, in the Alpine terrain of the Tyrol region.
The village is best known as part of the ski region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, which was formed in 1999 when Serfaus joined with the neighbouring municipalities of Fiss and Ladis. The combined area is a destination for winter sports, particularly skiing.
Serfaus is also known for its small hovertrain subway system, the U-Bahn Serfaus. It has four stations and a length of 1,280 metres, and it allows cars to be banned completely within the town while maintaining the village's attractiveness to tourists, especially skiers.
