Reith bei Seefeld

Austria

Reith bei Seefeld is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in the Alps of western Austria, about 12.3 kilometres northwest of Innsbruck, the state capital, and roughly 3 kilometres south of the neighbouring resort town of Seefeld in Tirol.

The community sits on the Seefeld Plateau, a high alpine terrace between the Wetterstein range to the north and the Karwendel mountains to the south. Its position places it within the wider Innsbruck-Land administrative district, which surrounds but does not include the city of Innsbruck itself.

Reith bei Seefeld is one of several small settlements on the plateau, and its proximity to Seefeld links it to the area's established winter sports and hiking region. The municipality is reached from Innsbruck by road and rail connections running toward Seefeld and the German border at Mittenwald.
