Mötz is a municipality and village in the Imst District of the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in the Inn valley, roughly 16 kilometres east of the town of Imst and about 9 kilometres west of Telfs.
The village was first mentioned in the 12th century. It was long connected with the neighbouring community of Mieming, and only became a municipality in its own right after the Second World War.
Its economy rests mainly on agriculture and summer tourism, while the village also functions as a residential area for people working in the wider region.
