Leutasch is a municipality in the Austrian state of Tyrol, located in the northern part of the Innsbruck-Land district. It lies roughly 30 kilometres northwest of Innsbruck and about 10 kilometres northwest of Seefeld in Tirol.
The municipality sits in the Leutasch Valley, a high alpine valley in the Tyrolean Alps near the German border. The valley is divided into several small hamlets rather than a single built-up village centre, and it is known for its alpine meadows and mountain scenery.
Leutasch is a recognised cross-country skiing destination in winter, with an extensive network of groomed trails through the valley, and it serves as a base for hiking and walking in the surrounding mountains during the summer months.
