Lans is a town in the district of Innsbruck Land, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in western Austria, in the Alpine region of the country.
The village is located roughly 8 kilometres south of the city of Innsbruck, the provincial capital of Tyrol. Its position places it in the immediate surroundings of Innsbruck, within the wider Inn valley area.
Lans is administratively part of the Innsbruck Land district, one of the districts that make up the state of Tyrol.
