Hippach is a municipality in the Schwaz district of the Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in the Zillertal, the valley of the Ziller river, in western Austria.
The community is part of the Schwaz district, one of the administrative divisions of Tyrol. The Zillertal is a side valley running south from the main Inn valley, and Hippach sits among the settlements along its lower course.
Hippach is closely associated with the neighbouring municipality of Ramsau im Zillertal; the two share the cadastral community of Hippach-Ramsau and are often referred to together. The area is traditionally agricultural, with a landscape shaped by alpine pastures and mountain terrain typical of the Tyrolean Alps.
