Absam is a municipality located in the Innsbruck-Land District within the Tyrol region of Austria. Situated at an altitude of 632 meters, the area covers a total land area of 51.92 square kilometers.
As of January 2015, the municipality had a population of 6,776 inhabitants. It is situated in the alpine region of the Austrian state of Tyrol.
