Tieschen is a municipality in the district of Südoststeiermark, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the southeastern part of the country, within the region known as Vulkanland Styria.
The area is characterized by rolling hills, vineyards, and a mild climate suited to agriculture and wine production. Tieschen is one of several small communities that make up the Südoststeiermark district, a largely rural part of Styria.
