Stallhofen

Austria

Stallhofen is a municipality in the district of Voitsberg, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the western part of Styria, within the Voitsberg district, an area of the state known for its mix of rural settlements and small industrial towns.

As a municipality, Stallhofen is one of the local administrative units that make up the Voitsberg district, alongside the district's other towns and communes. Like other municipalities in Austria, it serves as a basic tier of local government, responsible for matters such as local infrastructure and community services for its residents.

The surrounding region of western Styria is characterized by hilly terrain and a landscape of villages and open countryside. Stallhofen's position within this area places it in the broader Alpine foothills zone of Austria, though the municipality itself is a small, ordinary commune rather than a major urban centre.
