Retznei is a former municipality in the district of Leibnitz, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the southern part of Styria, a region known for its rolling hills and wine-growing areas.
Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, Retznei is no longer an independent municipality and has been part of the municipality Ehrenhausen an der Weinstraße. The reform merged a number of small communes across Styria into larger administrative units.
