Passail is a municipality in the district of Weiz, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the eastern part of the state, roughly 30 kilometers (19 miles) north-east of Graz, the Styrian capital.
The municipality is part of the Weiz district, one of the administrative subdivisions of Styria. Its position places it within the wider Graz metropolitan region's sphere of influence while remaining a distinct community in its own right.
Beyond its administrative status and location, Passail is best known simply as one of the many small municipalities that make up the rural and semi-rural landscape of eastern Styria.
