Oberzeiring is a former municipality in the district of Murtal, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the upper Mur valley region of central Austria, within the federal province of Styria (Steiermark).
Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, Oberzeiring is no longer an independent municipality; it is now part of the municipality of Pölstal. The reform merged a number of small Styrian communes into larger administrative units, and Oberzeiring was incorporated into Pölstal along with neighbouring communities.
Its administrative affiliation places it within the Murtal district, one of the districts of Styria. As a former municipality, it retains its identity as a locality within Pölstal rather than as a separate governing entity.
