Obervogau is a former municipality in the district of Leibnitz, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the southern part of Styria, a region known for its rolling hills, vineyards, and proximity to the Slovenian border.
Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, Obervogau has been part of the municipality of Straß in Steiermark. Before that reform, it existed as an independent municipality within the Leibnitz district.
