Mureck is a municipality in the district of Südoststeiermark, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the south-east of the country, near the border with Slovenia.
The municipality took its present form on 1 January 2015, when administrative reforms in Styria merged the formerly separate municipalities of Mureck, Gosdorf, and Eichfeld. The merged municipality retained the name Mureck. Eichfeld included the villages of Hainsdorf-Brunnsee and Oberrakitsch.
