Modriach is a former municipality in the district of Voitsberg, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the western part of Styria, within the Voitsberg district, an area of the country's south-central region.
As part of the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, Modriach was merged into the municipality of Edelschrott and ceased to exist as an independent municipality. Since that reform it has been a constituent part of Edelschrott rather than a separate administrative unit.
Its status as a former municipality means that Modriach is today best understood as a locality within Edelschrott, retaining its own name while sharing the administration of the larger municipality.
