Mitterdorf an der Raab is a municipality in the district of Weiz, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the eastern part of Styria, within the Raab river valley, from which it takes the second part of its name.
As a municipality, it is one of the administrative units that make up the Weiz district, a largely rural area of rolling hills and farmland east of Graz. The surrounding region is known for its agricultural landscape and small, dispersed settlements rather than large urban centres.
