Lassing is a municipality in the district of Liezen, in the Austrian state of Styria. It is located in the Liezen district, which lies in the northwestern part of Styria.
As a municipality, Lassing is one of the administrative units that make up the Liezen district, the largest district in Austria by area. The surrounding region is part of the broader Alpine landscape of central Austria.
